Candidate must be a graduate of Horticulture-related courses

1 to 2 years of experience is an advantage

Must have experience in nursery establishment and operations

Must have working knowledge in other horticulture-related works

Must be knowledgeable in site operations

Must have strong communication skills

Must have intermediate documentation skills

Supervises gardeners and ensures that their assignments are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner.

Inspects the greens and landscaped areas for damage or disease and recommends solutions as appropriate; ensures that safety precautions are followed when spraying the plants with fungicides or insecticides.

Ensures that landscaped areas and related items are cleaned and maintained regularly.

Plants various landscaping materials, e.g., shrubbery, flowers, lawns, trees, hedges.

Prepares grounds e.g., fertilizes soil, courtyards, flowerbeds.

Prepares reports on project status updates, cost estimates, and landscape plans.

Recommends materials, supplies and equipment necessary in the conduct of their work.
